Antelope Sunday

So Dad and Jake got to go antelope hunting this past Sunday. Boy am I envious. Not a lot of photos, but those I do have stir a lot of fond memories in me. Click here to jump to the bottom...

The road home. Notice the moon hanging there in the background. Ah, how I wish I could have been there...

Beautiful shot of an evening shower. This kind of scenery is common in eastern MT.

Getting late, time to think about heading home

Of course Dad still knows how to shoot too...

Why do you need a game carrier? Because when you shoot 5 antelope in one day, you don't want to pack them all out on your back. Here's my little brother Jake with a dandy buck. 400 yards, one shot, with a 30-06.

Of course you've got to have the right equipment for antelope hunting. A Ford F250 Super-Duty Crewcab Diesel is great place to start. And then you also need one of those little game carriers you see there on the ground behind it.

So my Dad and my brother Jake went antelope hunting in Eastern MT this weekend, and I wanted to share a few pictures they sent me. This is typical antelope country here....
